The Next Step... Making Money

I visited a website recently named Shadowdetails.com. It is a website of a photographer featured in a recent issue of Photoshop Magazine. The reason that I bring his site up is that he is doing something that I am aspiring to do. Although, his training is different than mine we have similar ideas for what we want to accomplish and similar audiences. The good thing is his site features some of the same resources, a blog, a photo show case and soon to be a link to PhotoShelter.com. GOOD, I'm headed in the right direction!
The thing that his site does not have and that mine will soon show case is the narrative portions. This is the part of the my site that will soon shine with movies and story telling and my photos will be secondary but hopefully not far off. There is much time to be had in the holiday season for getting fat and sitting in front of the computer doing work. I'll take the extra pounds on to get the website up and running the way that I want and also to get my media together for up coming events.
I plan on putting together a slide show for local audiences around the bay with the media from the Nepal trip and the other training that logan and I did before our trip. Part of the trouble of putting all this stuff together is that it takes so much time and effort that does not apply to making money. So I'd better put something together, as an investment, to make money or gives me the opportunity to make money later.
