The Fluid Race Team

When I see bikes being raced, I want to race bikes . That much is clearer to me after having my mouth watering all day while watching $6000 bikes zipping by. I wanted to be competitive and ride until my heart pounded out of my chest, and all the suffering involved in climbing up hills on two wheels sounded so good in my mind. I love that stuff.

Today I spent taking pictures of what I love about bikes. The people that ride them and how they chase each other in a way that creates communities and friendships that bridge all people. The Fluid cycling team is a great example of a community building team that has great riders and excellent coaching. These guys live by their commitment to the sport. Nathan Chaszeyka and his wife Melinda run Endurance Addiction a cutting edge endurance-couching outfit in Las Vegas and are the directors of this amateur racing team. It’s impressive what these guys know about the human body and how they apply it to themselves and their athletes.

All the guys put their heart in to the race, which was called The Boulevard Road Race. It took place near the Mexican border within the United States. San Diego County is beautiful this time of year, especially running around a racecourse trying to take good photos with very few opportunities.
