Spindrift wins 4 awards at the San Jose 48 Hour Project

Spindrift won best director (Allison Ayer), best cinematographer (me), best set design and best use of genre. We worked our asses off to get this film done and it paid off. You can see the write up here.

This summer has been an amazing creative and community based celebration for me. Our goals and dreams have started to materialize and I see the future as a bright and shining example of hard work and collaboration. There are several things lining up in the future, music videos, narratives, documentary projects and photo installations. The sun is rising on the horizon.

I am heading out to the Maine Media Workshop for a Masters DP course in late October and I'm very excited to learn more about the craft from some amazingly talented people who have deep experience in the art and business.
I am also diving into the application processes for graduate school as it has always been a huge dream of mine to proceed with my journalism education and combine my digital art with my journalism background. I dread the GRE. :)
